- Medicines or medical products (therapeutic appliances, diagnostic reagents, medical equipment, etc.) unless where they have been prescribed by a patient's attending physician or where they do not have a pharmaceutical equivalent. "Medical products" shall include all products which are ingested or which are applied to the skin, such as medicines, vitamins, homeopathic medicines, nail varnishes, cosmetic paints and dyes, creams and perfumes.
